What is the secret to tender chicken?

There are several factors that can contribute to tender chicken:
Quality of the chicken: Start with good quality chicken that is fresh and not past its expiry date.
Brining: Brining involves soaking the chicken in a saltwater solution for a few hours before cooking. This helps the chicken retain moisture and results in tender, juicy meat.

Marinating: Marinating chicken in an acidic or enzymatic marinade can also help tenderize the meat. The acid or enzyme in the marinade breaks down the connective tissue in the meat, resulting in tender chicken.

Cooking technique: Cooking the chicken using a low and slow method, such as braising or slow-roasting, can help break down the collagen in the meat and make it more tender. Avoid overcooking the chicken, as this can cause it to become tough and dry.

Resting: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking to allow the juices to redistribute and prevent them from flowing out when you cut into the meat.By following these tips, you can achieve tender and juicy chicken.
